    Out of the blue, Addie decided to compare the differences in freezing temperatures of plain water, salt water and sugar water. She started with three equal size cups of water (same temp) and added sugar and salt to one cup each then placed them outside overnight to see if the sugar and salt affected the water freezing. We will work on more accurate ways of measuring the actual temp at which each cup actually freezes, but I want her to try out her own ideas however they come to her before adding my two sense.
