Are you using another curriculum alongside the eScience program? This match-up sheet will help you really bring the scientific principles from your textbook to life and show you which experiments and activities work best with the chapter you currently on.
Note: The eScience program does not cover creation or evolution so ALL families can participate with our programs. We focus on how to build the robot, take data and measurements, work a microscope, launch the rocket, why a laser works…basically sticking to the physics of what’s going on and how to build the projects. Of course, you can always add to it in any way you see fit.
The conversion charts we provide are for most requested texts from our members. For other curriculum, simply email us your TOC and we’ll create a conversion chart for you and post it here.

What about Waldorf curricula such as Waldorf Esssentials?
I’m using Christian Light Education science is on page 43 to 51 of the document https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/prod-clp-files/public/documents/6861/original/2016-2017_Elementary_Scope_and_Sequence.pdf would love to match some experiments from your curriculum I have a Kindergarten student and a grade 4 (doing grade 5)!
Sure! I’ve added a link above for you.
A conversion chart for Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding please. All levels.
Usually, the answer is “Yes, no problem!” However, everything you need for Apologia Zoology 2 is contained within Unit 18 (and would be really short and redundant to make an entire conversion chart for it), so I would recommend starting with your current curriculum and add in experiments from Unit 18 as you go along. It’s easy to figure out where to put the experiments, since they are labelled with the type of creature, like “Worms” or “Sponges”. Let me know if you need more help as you go along!
Also note – there’s a whole high school biology course for Apologia here: https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/grade-levels/advanced-projects-2/apologia-biology/
Can you do a conversion chart for Apologia Zoology Swimming Creatures of the 5th day
Sure! We have the Apologia Biology match up here:
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/grade-levels/advanced-projects-2/apologia-biology/
We had so many requests for it, and it was such a big conversion chart that I created a page so it wouldn’t be too confusing to use. Hope this helps!
Hello Aurora, I am also looking for the Apologia Biology conversion chart. When you get that for the other folks that asked about it, will you post it here on the list?
I don’t think we have a conversion chart for it. If you email me the TOC I can see how it matches up with our curriculum.
I am using the Apologia Biology text and don’t see it on your conversion chart. Can you help me out with what Units I can do to incorporate your experiments?
Sure thing! All you need to do is send an email to [email protected] and include the table of contents and we should be able to get that done for you!
Is there a possibility of a conversion chart for Classical Conversations Cycle 2
The following is the basis of the weekly memory work. I would like to add knowledge and wonder to it! (6th grader)

Not sure if this link https://www.time4learning.com/App/Admin/LessonPlans/HighSchoolLessonPlans_Detail.aspx?sID=26&gID=12 is better for conversion purposes so I will include it anyway.
I am using Time 4 Learning and would like a conversion chart for the Physical Sciences (Chemistry & Physics). The TOC can be found here: http://www.time4learning.com/homeschool/curriculum/high_school_physical_science.html
Can you match the TOC with your e-science program. We live in Australia and have just finished the mid year break and are thus right back into the work. Looking forward to receiving the tie-in information to link eScience to T4L
Many thanks for an awesome website.
Thanks for writing! I didn’t realize you sent a revised version – let me check and get back to you on it. Summer is a super-busy time here with our workshops and extra activities, so we’re a little back-logged at the moment, but don’t worry – we’ll get your to your request as soon as we can! 🙂
Hi! Back in May I emailed a request for Prentice Hall Biology, by Miller and Levine, and you initially responded that the format of my request was cumbersome, and asked me to send you a copy of the TOC for the book in PDF format. I forwarded the requested file by replying directly do the email you sent me, but I have not heard anything more from you, and I just wanted to make sure you received the file. Is it still possible for you to generate a conversion chart for this book? The file I emailed you is more detailed, but the basic TOC can also be found at: http://www.millerandlevine.com/chapter/toc.html Thanks!
The only units I can see that you’ll want to use with this series of books in zoology is Units 16-18, and you can select the animal type you are working with as you go.

Hi,
Would it be possible for you to create a conversion chart for Wes Olson’s Biology 101, Chemistry 101, and Physics 101? I would like to combine both yours and his together if that is possible.
http://www.the101series.com
It is video based for my visual learners, which is one of the reason why I love your website.
I have printed out all your courses to try and match what we have to it, but if you could give me any tips that would be wonderful!!!
Thanks! Natalie
I see that you have Classic Science: Physical Science from Scott McQuerry but we are not using that one at the moment. We are using Chemistry and Life Science do you have a conversion chart for this? We are using the lower grades not the upper (elementary) ones. Thanks!

Take care!
Send over a table of contents and we’ll match it up for you!
Hi there! I have your box here waiting for action — I’m just a little intimidated as to where to start. : ) I think it would be easier for me to use your experiments to supplement our existing science curriculum.
We have Nancy Larson Science 3. Do you have a chart to match your experiments to this? If not, I’ll just start poking around on my own about how to supplement. Your experiments look amazing and my daughter’s excited to get started. Thanks!
I have another age-level for Moving Beyond the Page. Could you do a conversion chart for these two semesters, please?

Sure thing – my team will let you know when it’s posted.
I am using time4learning.com and their Middle School Physical Science Program. Can you match the TOC https://www.time4learning.com/App/Admin/LessonPlans/LessonPlans_Detail.aspx?sid=37&gid=11 with your e-science program. I also have the science mastery diamond program as well.
Thank you! Love your program so far, btw.
I’ll have my team connect with you right away!
Can you make a conversion chart for Bridget Ardoin’s Science for Homeschool – Chemistry: http://www.scienceforhighschool.com/chemistry-syllabus-and-sample-pages/
Sure thing! My team will post it in a couple of days so check back soon.
Good morning! Would you please make a conversion chart for Dr. Jay Wile’s Science in the Beginning elementary book? A TOC here: http://www.ichthusresources.co.uk/science_inthebeg_toc.pdf
Thanks so much!
I am planning on using the curriculum by BrainPoP in the fall. the link/TOC is http://www.brainpop.com/science. Can you create a conversion chart for this.
If you send us a TOC, we’ll match it with our program. Send it to us directly.
Hi! I, too, am wanting to do Apologia General science with my 6th/7th grader. On the conversion chart document, only the first few chapters are correlated to your experiments. Do you have a more detailed conversion? Thanks!
I’ll have my team contact you right away!
I’m using Exploring Creation w/General Science with my 7th grader. Are there any eScience units or lessons for Modules 6-16? Thanks!
Sure thing! Just send us a TOC and we’ll get that posted for you!
I see you have a conversion chart for Creation Kids Explore Physics. What about one for Creation Kids Explore Chemistry and Creation Kids explore Earth and Space?
Sure thing! We’ll have that up in a jiffy.
Can you please do a conversion chart for Bridget Ardoin’s Physical Science? The TOC is here:
http://www.scienceforhighschool.com/physical-science-syllabus-and-sample-pages/
Thank you!
We’re happy to! Just send us a TOC by email ([email protected]) and we’ll get that posted here for you.
Any plans to do a conversion for Building Foundations for Scientific Understanding by Dr. Nebel?
Thanks for writing! And you are right – there’s no direct link up for those modules, as these topics are more complex to match up with an experiment,. For example, it’s difficult to have an experiment you can do at home that shows the inner structure of the atom… some experiments are just that way. However, there are experiments for the following:
Expt 7.1 Electrical Charge
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/05/maxwell%E2%80%99s-first-equation/
Expt 7.2 Eye Detects Color
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/11/eyeballoon/
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/11/camera-eyes/
More info on the structure of the atom is in Units 3, 8, and 15.
More detail on light and how it works is in unit 9.
Expt 12.1 Ideal Gas Eqn – Unit 13 (Thermodynamics)
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/05/ideal-gas-law/
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/05/states-of-matter/
More on Gases and Fluids:
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/05/higher-pressure-always-pushes/
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/05/bernoulli%E2%80%99s-principle/
Expt 13.1 Experiments that you can do these calculations with are found in Unit 13 and 15, but note that there’s no one specific experiment that demonstrates change in enthalphy, as this is usually covered in college level science and engineering classes, but I am happy to help if you have specific questions about it, as I taught thermodynamics at the university.
Here’s an experiment on how to calculate how much energy something has:
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2011/10/do-plants-store-energy/
https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2010/09/peanut-energy/
Hope this helps!
I am really excited about working with your materials. Our oldest daughter is currently using Apologia’s Chemistry curriculum and is honestly not very fond of it. I found the conversion chart to show how things matched up with their materials. My hope was to use the two side by side for a while just to see how she responds to both while we get used to SuperCharged Science.
I have to admit that she has gotten stumped on some of Apologia’s material on the Quantum Mechanical Model of the Atom in Module 7. In looking through the conversion chart, I noticed that you do not have any matching content for Modules 7-9 and also 12-13. Out of curiosity, do these modules possibly exceed the scope of typical high school level chemistry? Or was it just a matter of your curriculum being completed and the conversion chart was created after the fact to help those of us that were trying to convert over or do the two side by side. High School Chemistry was 30 years ago for me and my memory just isn’t what it used to be. I really want her to have a great core of knowledge in Chemistry, but don’t want to push her too hard on things that may not even be within the realm of a typical high school level course.
Thanks for any insights you may have. She was determined that we should just finish up Module 7 and then forget the rest of the modules and move onto SuperCharged. I think she is a little excited!
Yes – simply send us a TOC by email and we’ll match up the program you are using with ours.
We use Switched on Schoolhouse high School Chemistry and General Science. Would your experiments/units match theirs?
If there’s not one listed here, then simply send us a TOC and we’ll publish a conversion sheet for you.
Can you tell me if there is a conversion for PLATO science, middle school program? Thanks. We are considering this program. You can see a demo of it on the Homeschool Buyers Coop. You have to join to access it….but joining only requires you to make up a log-in. No financial commitment.
Will you make a conversion chart for Noeo Physics III? http://www.noeoscience.com/files/Physics_III_Table_of_Contents.pdf
We match up the program on a request basis… since out two Biology units are not yet published, they haven’t been matched. When they are up, please send over a TOC and we can get this done for you.
I noticed you have a curriculum matchup for Apologia Chemistry, Physics, etc. but not Biology. Will that be coming out in October as well or do you need me to send the TOC?
Thanks!
If you send over a TOC, I can have one created for you.
is there a conversion chart for R.E.A.L. science Odyssey Chemistry level 1?
You need Abode Acrobat Reader. What happens if you try a different computer?
I am unable to download the pdf for Apologia? I went back to make sure I was loggin in too. There have been other places on your website that I’ve also trie to click on the link to be able to see the print pg. and nothing opens when I click on it? I’d really like to see the conversion chart for Apologia and everything else your site has to offer. I just signed up today and am excited to utilize your resources. thanks
Actually, no. The parts for biology are sooo easy to find (you’ll see what I mean!) and only a few are really hard to find so we give you the direct link to order them from the supplier.
When you post the Life Sciences/Biology curriculum, will you be creating kits to go with them like you’ve done for the Science Mastry programs?
If you send something over that we can see the content, we will post it to the site right away. 🙂
Thank you, Aurora, for putting these together. I have several friends who use one of the other curricula you’ve listed and we as a family own several as we follow our children as we develop their day to day and long term learning; we’ve found that lots of options for the parent are extremely important in finding what fits our children’s learning styles on any particular topic. This really is the icing on the cake for us….expect us to sign up for one of your full packages as soon as the tax return arrives:) You’ve made my job as a homeschool Mom so much easier. We were considering purchasing a Discovery Education subscription for videos that could supplement the other curricula we own. Your videos AND audio recordings will make this unnecessary! Thanks again.
Well it’s not as popular of a curricula, and is older…but the Weaver by Alpha Omega publishing is what we use. It’s a Unit Study style, so there’s not a separate TOC for just science topics. I know I could match things up by myself, but why re-invent the wheel if you happen to have done something like that already or have other members that use the same curric as I?
I thought I’d ask 🙂
Some Units of course are more upfront – such as the Unit on the Human Body. lol
Thanks! So far I love this place 🙂
Kara
TOC stands for “Table of Contents”.
What’s a TOC?
Yes, you’re right – the two programs aren’t lined up with each other, as e-Science was created after Science Mastery. (And if you want the complete truth, Science Mastery is lined up in the order I teach it during my science workshops, and e-Science is ordered in the way I would teach my own kids during the course of a year (or years).) Ok, so here’s how you match them up:
Click on this link: https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2010/01/conversion-charts/ and download the conversion chart that will match them up with each other. The Diamond program supplies most of the materials for the e-Science kits. You’ll find a material conversion sheet also on the conversion page mentioned above.
And now click on this link: https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/getting-started/syllabus-schedule/ for a complete outline of the e-Science program. Note that you do not need to go in any particular order for either program – most units and lessons are independent (and if they’re not, it will say so right at the top of the lesson).
The Diamond’s C3000 covers the BIG Unit 15 (which will be released in Nov); the Enviro-kit is the fruit battery experiment here: https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2010/01/fruit-battery/; fuel car is in Unit 12 (Alternative Energy) here: https://www.sciencelearningspace.com/2010/05/fuel-cell-power ; the 300-in-1 Lab will be released in Dec/Jan as part of Unit 14. You can always use the search box at the top of the page to locate experiments also. Hope this helps, and be sure to ask if you have any further questions!
I have… the Science Mastery Diamond and e-Science.. I thought that the kits were going to be the experiments as laid out in the EScience website, but it doesn’t quite look that way. I looked through the website to see if there was information on how they are related but I did not see anything. So I am asking, are the Science Mastery Experiments supposed to be complementary to, but not in sequence with the EScience topics? Are there any experiments in the EScience Units that are directly supplied by the kits? Also which sections/experiment numbers use the Enviro battery, Chemistry set, Fuel car, fun fly stick and electronics lab? Appreciate the feedback and looking forward to starting, Thanks.
Oops – sorry about that! Try again…
Tried to download the Abeka conversion chart but keep getting Apologia one instead. Thanks
Yes, you’ll find it posted above, under “Which materials do I need to get?” We provided a list of materials that are included with the different Science Mastery programs which ALSO get used by e-Science. The reason we did the list this way (instead of inundating you with 57 more shopping lists… no kidding!) was because each family is going to complete different set of experiments, and by giving you a descriptive list of what you already own, you can still use the e-Science shopping lists and simply scratch off the items you already have (along with the ones you aren’t going to do). Since e-Science is WAY BIGGER than Science Mastery, this was the most useful way we could think of to handle this.
Note – if you have Science Mastery DIAMOND, you have most (about 90-95%) of what you need for e-Science. (The rest are simple things from the recycling bin or everyday items, like food items, water, toilet paper tubes, stopwatch, etc.)
Do you have a shopping list for me if I already own the science mastery program?
Sure – do you have a TOC you can send over? We’ll post it right to the site here.
I was planning on doing Apologia’s chemistry with my 10th grade daughter next year and noticed that you only list conversions for their advanced chemistry. Could you do a conversion for their beginning chemistry course?
Thanks!
Which lesson plan are you having trouble with – or it is all of them? Make sure you’re logged in, otherwise you won’t be able to download them.
i’m unable to download the lesson plans after several attempts—please help!! thanks-Pam Cook
Whoops – sorry about that – we recently uploaded the A Beka one and must have mixed up the links. Try again?
Tried to download the conversion chart for Apologia but kept getting the A Beka one instead.
Thanks.
