If you can multiply 11 by any 2-digit number, then you can easily do any three digit number. There's just an extra step, and make sure you always start adding near the ones so you can see where to carry the extra if needed.

It says click the player for multiplying 3 digit numbers by 11 but there is no player on the screen to click… Still havent started any of the experiment. .. Its my son’s finals this week.
Excellent, amazing! I think you are making maths so easy by giving these tricks.can you pass some more division and multiplication tricks which can make maths easy for my 8 year old.
Thanks for these math tricks! I teach a math class to home school kids and these are really fun!
No problem – we’ve only just started, so you’re right on track. I think the next one to come up is squaring numbers. Soon your kids should be able to multiply 3 digit numbers in their head… and some kids will actually figure out how to do this faster than a calculator. We’ll be going over the math phonetic code as well as how to graphically multiply, so it will be a nicely-rounded tour of math and how to use it in everyday life. It’s fun, isn’t it? 🙂
Howdy howdy. I just stumbled onto the Math section. I’m not sure how I missed it until last week, but I did. This is just way too cool. thanks, j
